All degree holders (B.Tech, B.Sc Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D.) and former/current faculty members of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Calcutta, are eligible for life or annual membership. Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs can also join our student mentorship chapters.
CUChEAA prioritizes your digital privacy. Once logged into your member dashboard, navigate to Account Settings > Privacy Controls. From there, you can easily toggle whether your phone number, email address, or current employer is displayed to fellow alumni or hidden from public directory views.
Yes! CUChEAA is a registered society under applicable Indian statutory laws. Contributions made toward student fellowships, laboratory infrastructure development, and medical aid funds may qualify for tax exemptions under relevant sections (such as 80G). Official donation receipts and exemption certificates are generated automatically and emailed upon successful payment verification.
